| A. The usual delivery date is 10 days, however on some occasions it may take up to 28days. |
|
| Q. What if the glasses do not fit correctly when I receive them? |
| A. Unfortunately, as the glasses are purchased online we do not provide a fitting service. You can take your glasses to any local optician, they should fit them for you for a small charge. |

| P.D. - Pupilary Distance |
This is the distance between the centres of the pupil (black circle) in one eye to the centre of the pupil in the other eye. This distance is measured in millimetres. To measure this distance:
1. Stand facing a friend about an arms length away
2. Ask him/her to hold the millimetre ruler on the bridge of your nose.
3. Look into your friends left eye and ask your friend to place the ruler so that the zero mark is in the middle of your right pupil.
4. Continuing to look in your friends left eye ask him/her to mark your left eye on the millimetre ruler.
5. The distance from 0 to this is you P.D., the average P.D. is around 62mm.
It is best to have your P.D. measured by a qualified optician, but if this is not possible you can quite easily carry out the above.

| What do the frame measurements mean? |
The easiest way to get the right frame size is to get the dimensions from a comfortable pair of glasses you already have.
On one of the legs you will usually find (with the aid of a magnifying glass) three measurements, the first two separated by a rectangle.

The Lens Diameter is a matter of choice, but the other two determine the fit.
They do not need to be exact, but the closer they are to your existing pair, the more likely your new glasses are to be a comfortable fit.

| What is the segment shape of bifocal lenses? |
|
As standard we use D28 bifocal lenses. These are 'D' shaped segments that are positioned vertically 3mm below the centre of the lens and horizontally are centred on your pupillary distance. If you would like them to be positioned further up then do state on your order or ring customer services to discuss (0161 798 7773).
